Art As You Like It is a great place to schedule social activities. Whether your looking for that special place to re-connect with a group of friends, an interesting place for a wedding shower, a fun activity for a Mom‘s night out, or an exciting place for your child’s next birthday party Art As You Like It can accommodate any group-large or small.

How It Works:

• Minimum of 8 artists/guests per party
• Deposit of $25 required at party booking. Deposit will not be refunded if party is cancelled less than 24 hours prior to event.
• Deposit will be deducted from the total party costs.
• Party area rental is for 1 1/2 hours. If you need extra time we can extend the rental time. We charge a fee of $25 per 1/2 hour extra.

What’s included:

• Set up and Clean Up!
• Staff person to help with the party
• Each package includes bisque pricing. We will offer a selection of bisque that is $10 or less if you or your child would rather have different bisque items, you may pay the difference.
• Each package has it’s own benefits. Need something not mentioned? Ask! We’ll do everything we can to accommodate your special event!

Girl Scouts can work on badge requirements. Our staff is knowledgeable in number of subjects. Art, Art History and Art techniques are our specialty. Did you know that pottery combines art with science and technology? Learn about it at your next field trip. How about learn about women as entrepreneurs, our owner team is a mother-in-law/daughter-in-law team--how unique is that?

Boy Scouts One of our staff has a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree, both have been formerly trained in a number of artistic styles and can help an individual or a group seeking out badge requirements in art or painting

Child Care Centers-When there is a day off from school and the day care is swarming with an extra large group of kids, its too cold--or too hot (this is Minnesota after all) to be outside--what do you do with them. Bring them to the studio for a field trip. We can give the kids a tour of our kiln room, let them see, touch, and feel clay that has been dug right here in Minnesota. Then we can sit down and get to the fun! You choose the project we have number of items to choose from under $10 per child!

Home School groups- We can create an activity that talks about science, math, art and history all at the same time. What a better way to spend a school day afternoon. Especially when the weather is bad. Whether your group is one family of children or a cooperative of kids, we can customize an activity that will suit your needs.

Youth groups- We talk about respecting others things, respecting ourselves, respecting our community. Art As You Like It believes that youth are our future, and we should spend time teaching our youth about these important lessons . Bring your youth group to our studio and we can work on some team building projects. How about a group tile project that could be installed in a local community center or nursing home. One of our staff is an experienced grant writer and fundraiser and may be able to help locate a community partner who could help with the costs and organization of such a project.

Church Groups - youth and adults can benefit from an outing at Art As You Like It. We encourage family time so every Sunday is family day. Every Sunday we will have featured projects that encourage growth and togetherness in the family. Youth groups can work on a service project-how about tissue holders for a local nursing home, or study a bible story and paint pottery that goes along with the message. Maybe your church group holds single events for it’s church members--how about holding the event at Art As You Like It?
